Acceptable use Policy

2.                Forum etiquette

2.2  The purpose of the forum on Our Site is to:

2.2.1     allow users to engage in discussion about their political opinions and affiliations;

2.2.2     allow users to connect and engage in discussion with elected representatives, candidates and other politicians; and

2.2.3     learn about party manifestos and provide information to voters ahead of upcoming elections.

2.3  You agree to be courteous and civil to all users of the forum.  In particular towards people with different or opposing political opinions and affiliations.

2.4 In accordance with this Clause 2.4 and Clause 3, We will not tolerate any content posted which is abusive or offensive.  This will be removed from the site when brought to Our attention.

2.5  You will not have multiple logins or accounts.

3.                Content you post

3.1  Think before you post something on Our Site.  You should be aware that by posting anything on Our website (whether it is text, photos, images, audio or video) you give Us a non-exclusive licence to use that content without charge on Our Site in accordance with this AUP, Our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions on Our Site. 

3.2  You agree that you have the right to give Us this licence.  This means that if you post content, you agree that it was created by you alone or if it was created by someone else, you have a licence to use it for this purpose.

3.3  Avoid naming other people in your posts and in particular do not refer to their political affiliations unless you have prior permission. 

3.4  You agree that you will not post:

3.4.1     malware or viruses;

3.4.2     illegal, threatening, abusive, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, pornographic, fraudulent, harmful, defamatory content;

3.4.3     any content that impacts on the privacy of another;

3.4.4     any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party;

3.4.5     any content which is deemed terrorist content;

3.4.6     advertising;

3.4.7     content that has been taken down by Us;

3.4.8     marketing;

3.4.9     spam;

3.4.10   anything that might disable, overburden, alter or impair the content or functioning of Our Site; and

3.4.11   anything which may be in breach of applicable law in relation to elections, voting or campaigning.

3.5  You agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of Our Site which will breach the provisions of Our Terms and Conditions.

3.6  We are not responsible if content on the forum posted by you or anyone else is inaccurate, not up to date or incomplete or is in any way in breach of this AUP. 

3.7  If We think that any of your content breaches these rules, We may remove it from Our Site.  If you repeatedly post content which breaches this AUP, your account may be suspended and your rights to use Our Site may be withdrawn.

3.8  To the extent permitted by law, We exclude liability for all actions We may take in response to breaches of this AUP.  The actions We take are not limited to those described above, and We may take any other actions We reasonably deem appropriate.

4.                Governing Law and Jurisdiction
